ESNNA Code of Conduct

What is the ESNNA Code?

Inka Ayway proudly adheres to the ESNNA Code of Conduct (Código de Conducta Contra la Explotación Sexual de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes), an official policy established by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) to prevent and eradicate any form of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents within the tourism sector.

This code aligns with Law N° 28251 – Law Against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, which classifies the sexual exploitation of minors as a serious crime, especially when linked to travel and tourism activities.

Our Commitment

At Inka Ayway, we firmly condemn and reject all forms of sexual exploitation of children, adolescents, or any vulnerable person. We uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure responsible tourism practices across all our operations.

We commit to:

  • Zero tolerance for the exploitation, abuse, or trafficking of children and adolescents.

  • Training all staff and partners on the prevention of sexual exploitation of minors.

  • Distributing and reinforcing the ESSNA Code internally so every team member understands and follows it.

  • Avoiding any promotion, recommendation, or facilitation of activities or establishments that may be linked—directly or indirectly—to the exploitation of minors.

  • Reporting any suspicious behavior or violations to the appropriate authorities immediately.

  • Providing clear channels for staff, travelers, and partners to report concerns confidentially.

Prevention and Control Measures

To ensure the protection of minors in every service we provide, Inka Ayway implements the following measures:

  • We do not offer, promote, or recommend destinations, providers, or activities that may be associated with sexual exploitation of minors.

  • We do not allow or facilitate transportation, lodging, or services that may put children or adolescents at risk.

  • We prevent minors from participating in activities that could expose them to danger or inappropriate environments.

  • Our team receives continuous training in child protection, ethical tourism, and responsible travel standards.
