Inka Trail Hike: Below are the services included during your Inka Trail hike- Briefing: This is where they will receive their duffel bag that will stay with the porters while they hike.
– The Green Machine, our Porters: All our treks include a personal porter at no additional fee. They will carry up to 7kg of personal belongings for each trekker.
– Meals: All meals except for the lunch after Machu Picchu are included. All meals are cooked by Inkaayway Chefs. Water will also be provided during the hike.
– Equipment: We use Eureka Timberline 4 person tents that are shared by only two people. You will also have a spacious dining tent to enjoy your meals in.
– Portable toilet tent: We also bring environmentally friendly, portable toilet tents for only our groups to use.
– Satellite Phones: Every guide will have a fully charged phone that can be used anywhere on the mountain to connect us anywhere in the world.
– The Extras: Every trekker receives a small pillow to sleep with, a foam mattress for insulation, a day pack cover to protect their things while hiking, and a rain poncho.

Flights: International and domestic flights are not included.

Gratuities: Tipping is always appreciated and should be based completely on your satisfaction. Although it may not be customary to you, it is of considerable significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels.

Travel insurance: This is not required, but highly recommended. For those of you who live at sea level, landing in Cusco will take an adjustment period. Most people need one or two days to adjust. In case you have a hard time adjusting to the altitude, it is suggested to have protection for missed tours.

Inka Trail Hike: Below are the services NOT INCLUDED during your Inca Trail hike:

Rentals: Every trekker needs a sleeping bag when camping. Inflatable air mattresses and walking sticks (with rubber tips) are optional but encouraged. If you don’t want to bring any of the above, they are all available for rent.- Sleeping bag: $20
– Inflatable Air Mattress: $15
– Walking sticks (pair): $15 -
Huayna Picchu Mountain: Huayna Picchu is the mountain that stands next to Machu Picchu. It is a 45 minute hike to the top. Going back down is quite steep, if you are scared of heights. This is done after your tour of Machu Picchu. The cost is $75. Arrangements need to be made at least one month in advance, due to popularity. Please understand that the weather is out of our control.
